Data Protectors are the data-hiders of the office
Data Protectors provide protection for company data. You can set up the application on a server or desktop. To start the program, simply double click the executable, wait for the wizard to load, and then follow the onscreen instructions. Data Protector for Windows has an intuitive interface which is easy to use. It offers powerful configuration options for the organization and encrypts files and folders by encrypting the disk. This makes it easier to protect your company files from prying eyes, because when a Data Protector is installed on a system, no one is able to see or access the data that is stored on the computer. To encrypt files on Windows 8.1, right-click on the file or folder, choose "Properties" and then click "Encrypt with Data Protector." Data Protector is available as a web application, too. It lets you access your data in a secure environment and encrypt your files or folders on the server. Just log in to the data security system on a web browser and the files are automatically encrypted. Data Protectors feature AES 256 bit encryption, SHA 512 bit hashing, and PGP 2 public-private key encryption, which provide a high level of protection. On Windows 7, it can also be downloaded as a portable application.
