One-hand navigation is made possible by Opera Touch’s Fast Action button, where all the of the browser’s main and most-used features can be instantly accessed. This button is located below the screen and readily available anytime. You simply have to hold and slide the button towards the different functions around it. Aside from making it easy for you to revisit your other open tabs and bookmarks, the Fast Action button will also let you do an instant search. Usually, when you use other browsers such as Google Chrome and Safari, you will still have to go through different steps in order to conduct a search like switching and opening a new tab and then clicking on the search bar before your keyboard shows up on your screen. Opera Touch skips all of those procedures. Once you slide the Fast Action button towards the quick search function, the browser automatically directs you to a new tab with the search bar already available and your keyboard up and waiting on your screen. This also goes the same for when you open Opera Touch from your home screen. The moment the app is launched, the browser is immediately ready and waiting for you to just type in your query. There is no need to open a new tab and click on the search bar above. Of course, voice search and QR codes can also be used.
Go with the flow
You can easily sync your searches and web pages in your Opera desktop browser to your Opera Touch app through its Flow technology. It is equipped with a barcode scanner that you can use to scan the QR code shown in the browser’s desktop version whenever you use it. This makes it easy for you to continue your sessions on your device when you are in a hurry and need to be on the go. Additionally, the barcode scanner on your Opera Touch can also scan other QR codes such as those that are placed on products, which redirects to a website or link. Using this function does not require any sign-in or other credentials and passwords.
