What is an Open Graph debugger?

Why does my link show the wrong image or no image at all?

Most often the page is missing an og:image tag, the image URL is broken or blocked, or the site only injects Open Graph tags with client-side JavaScript, which crawlers can't execute. Add a static og:image meta tag with an absolute URL to fix it.

Why does the preview look different from what I see when I share the link myself?

Facebook, X, and other platforms cache the scraped Open Graph data. If you changed your tags after the link was already shared, you may need to use that platform's own cache-refresh tool (e.g. Facebook Sharing Debugger's 'Scrape Again') to force it to re-fetch.

Does this tool store or share the URLs I check?

No. We fetch the page on the server only to read its meta tags for your analysis — nothing is stored or shared.
